From contacts to glasses

I've been using contacts for about a year now and they've started irritating my eyes.
No it has nothing to do with my allergies.

So I'm gonna get glasses on thursday.
Is there anything special I need to know?
Anything else than that I'm going to look dead sexy in them?~ ;D

Get into the habit of putting them on right after you wake up so you don't forget them at home.

Also, you should get glasses cleaner because they get dirty without you realizing it and it could give you a headache.

They should hold on pretty well unless you're break dancing, so you should be able to do anything you normally do. :3 Unless that thing is break dancing.

I switch off and on between wire-frame glasses and plastic-frame glasses. I've got plastic right now and last time I had plastic, I think I broke them three times in the same year and my wire-frame glasses, I got hit in the eye with a baseball after it fell from the sky and they didn't break.

So if you haven't picked frames yet, there's a few hints.

My word of advice is to not freak out if you lose them. XD They get lost easily. Trust me, I lose mine all the time >>

I don't lose mine unless they fall off the nightstand when I'm sleeping or fall off the sink when I'm taking a shower.

Oh! When it gets hot and you get sweaty, the nose piece might rub against your nose and scrape some skin, so be aware of that. I just deal with it or put a bandage over it, but you could find your own way of fixing it that suits you more.

D: I can see pretty normally without them so I take them off occasionally... and put them down and forget I put them there. XD Longest they've been missing is a week. I think they ended up in mom's purse or something
